From the Cutting Room: Montana Senate

Yesterday we recorded an interview with Karen, who a blogs at Karbon Kountry Moos. She’s a rancher living in a sparsely populated valley outside of Belfry, Montana. Our intention was to end last night’s show with a description of ponderosa pine, cattle ranching, and unending sky. What we ended up with was a remarkably personal story. We thought Karen’s interview, given the context of last night’s show, wasn’t quite the right way to end a conversation about Montana politics, so we decided not to play it. We also thought it would be a shame not to share it.
