    You might have though of it already, but here an idea how Skype could serve as a good way of keeping in touch with audience in this asynchronus timing of online audio broadcasting:

    Skype has a voicemail feature, that I think could be used for an audience feedback “dropbox”, so you would get:

    - audio feedback you could use on the show with small effrt (I guess)

    - by having the Skype ID you can approach that person for an interview even if the comment makes you to do so

    For the audience the benefit comes when someone is like me: if I listen to an excellent radio show I would rather talk (or speak) about my impressions that start writing comments like this… :)

    Ohh… yeah… one more thing… it would mean more work for the editors of course, because of the review process on the feedbacks…

    P.S.: I’m not sure if there are any technical difficulties with Skype managing the above, but it worth a try I guess.
