		<description>Ah, indeed. One of the many interesting islands I&#039;ve learned about through Patrick O&#039;Brian&#039;s 20 Aubrey-Maturin books over the last two years. Nothing beats a visit to an island that most people have never heard of. I&#039;m still riding high on my 2004 visit to Mauritius - would love an excuse to go back - but Tristan definitely takes the cake. That, and St. Helena, maybe. And let&#039;s not forget Diego Garcia....</description>

Its settlers were sent to England during WWII but could not adapted to England(their families having left in the 17th Century.) It was brough back in a movie-a Jack Ryan story-Thanks for the memories!</description>
