Lumiere, I understand where you are coming from. Whenever I select comments from the thread to give to Greta — or Chris — I find that my only criteron is that they are written from personal experience. I never pay attention to where that person is from, or if the sentences are pithy. You can be writing from Keflavik International Airport on your BlackBerry or chiming in from your grandmother’s recreation room in Omaha, NE., and it wouldn’t make a difference.

Here on Pitcairn Islands island , it strikes me that the weather is balmy.

My grandfather was a mutineer from the HMS Bounty and my grandmother a Tahitian who accompanied him here.

By any chance does sutter stutter?.
