OK, some snark for you - make your blog not look like my blog. ;) (I started with standard installation too.) We both have work to do...

I love the blog, love the concept, can't wait to hear the show (for the first time). I put a mention in my last post.

**And we also don’t plan on talking about the Internet all the time. The Internet is a tool, a means to get to the stories that matter, and the stories that matter**

I'm guessing this is in response to my critique/comments under "When Good Constitutions Go Bad", cuz I didn't know where else to put them. ;-)

Thank you for reading them.

Good balance between deities and ether. Did I miss mention of Amy Sullivan? What's the good of religion if we have no sense of morality?

RE: Audio bits from web: I would drop in single elements as opposed to groups of elements. Easier for Chris to back announce, easier for listeners to absorb and consume. Using online audio is a very good idea -- far better than reading blogging discourse a la CNN idiosos. But you've got time to prep -- go with the wicked good stuff.

Good work Brendan. I told David that I would call, and I apologize that I wasn't able to, because something came up at the last minute.

I'll be out @ church, but look forward to getting the podcast.

One thing I'd like to hear thoughts on is how the 'Net can lead to the "crazies" giving God a bad name.

Jack Chick notwithstanding...

Yeah, the endless copyright extension is a great show.

As for BitTorrent, also a good idea, but keep in mind that we're approaching a radio audience that is often skeptical of the word "blog" and, in extreme cases, of the word "Internet." We have to draw a compromise -- both in terms of internal resources and how many new concepts we can introduce on-air -- between doing it in the most efficient way possible and approaching the broadest common denominator.

So BitTorrent: most likely yes, but not before later in the summer. As you can see with the less-than-intuitive site navigation, we got a couple of other problems to solve first.

I've been loving the pilots, and wanted to say congrats to being back on the air. Two comments:

1) I'm downloading the 5/30 and 5/31 shows, and it's going slow. Probably you knew that. May I suggest BitTorrent to ease your bandwidth requirements and our download time. I'd be delighted to seed these shows, as others would as well, I'm sure.

2) Show topic idea: copyright reform. Big media keeps buying legislation to lengthen copyright terms and keep their content out of the public domain. On the other side are folks like Lawrence Lessig and the folks at http://www.corante.com/copyfight/ who are trying to bring some balance back to copyright law.

HTH,
